Rosters Increased from 17 to 20 Players
The TSNHL will allow its teams to increase their rosters from 17 to 20 players beginning this season.
A number of teams are having problems in the early going getting enough of a nucleus of players in place because of the 17-player restraint, so in upping the roster limit we hope to give the teams a few more player choices to choose from during the lean months of autumn. After all hunting season is upon us and we’d all like to avoid teams showing up with fewer than two lines.
Minimum Age Requirement for Players
During the early weeks of the season a number of team reps expressed a concern about the number of ‘younger players’ dressing for some clubs. No one wants the ‘kids’ to get hurt so the TSNHL is imposing a minimum age requirement of 16 for its players.
This limit takes effect as off now, meaning that if a player was under 16 at the start of the season he can not play from this point on...see ya next year, fellas. |
