The Red Army won their first RHL CUP today by winning 2 games to 0 over the BUZZ.

The league could not have asked for a better final.  Both teams came to play and play they did.  Goaltending on both teams was exceptional.

Game 1 - Red Army came out firing and pressured the BUZZ in their zone the entire game.  Their hard work effort paid off with a 9- 4 victory.  The Red Army lead the Best of Three series 1 - 0.

Game 2 - The BUZZ had their backs against the wall and faced a must win situation.  The BUZZ took the early lead, but the Red Army matched their efforts.  At half time, the Red Army lead 5 - 4.  In the Second Half the Red Army outshot/scored the BUZZ and won the game 10 - 5.  Red Army won the best of three series 2 - 0.
