Dear arena rental clients, 

With Friday’s announcement of new provincial restrictions to slow the spread of COVID-19, team sports using City arenas will be limited to training and practices only with no scrimmages or competitive play– similar to the restrictions experienced in stage two.  Public skating and skating lessons are not impacted. These restrictions take effect tomorrow and will remain for the next 28 days. 

City staff will be further reviewing the impacts of these new restrictions for clarification and will continue to provide updates. We are hoping that COVID-19 case numbers will trend lower after these restrictions take effect resulting in the resumption of the impacted recreation activities.
