In a very contavercial game the Whalers defeated the Generals 7-4 on two empty net goals. The whalers outplayed the Gens all game but Ty Mandzuk kept Ottawa West in it. In the end Darren Bowden, paul Dorsey, Scott Shackell Sean McCarthy and Corey lamarches skill proved to be too much. In another close game the Otters defeated the Fronts 8-6. Justin Mayo played an outstanding game as did Erik bitmanis of the Otters.In the last game the skill of the Whalers proved too much, as they took down the Otters 13-10. In another controvercial affair the Fronts jumped out to a 11-2 lead(or so they thot but the Gens stormed back.) It ended up going into a shootout after Mayo and Mandzuk had left. Giving the fronts two extra shots and a goal due to missing mayos skill, the Gens still came out on top.Justin Mayo and Dave Westman were the powerhouses ont his weekend.

Note: the game that the Frontenacs thought they had one should have gone to the Generals. when marking the score the Gens and fronts agreeed that one goal was marked for the wrong team as the Frontenacs had no 15. The Frontenacs got many advantages thruout the end and Mayo was given 4 extra points and 2 goals due to missing his skill and so he hopefully doesnt beat me up.
