Early saturday afternoon the Gens and Frontenacs went head to head in an exhibiton pair. The Gens came out on top 18-13 largely due to some timely saves by gens goaltender Sean kelly. Mike Byrne and Justin Mayo scored 17 points apiece in the game and Dave Westman and Spencer Galipeau rounded out the scoring for the Frontenacs. The second game the fatigue started to show early for the Gens as kanata jumped to a quick 9-5 lead. After a goaltending change kanata continued on a romp and made the score 14-8. Mayo took the car out of park and put it into drive and the Gens clawed there way back into a close 16-14 game. However Dave Westman was just to strong on this day, notching a season high 14 goals as he lead his Frontenacs to a 17-14 victory over the generals.
