Important Announcement Regarding Whalers Pat Dennis

To the league,

I have some sad news to announce regarding one of our current players in the league, Pat Dennis. Unfortunately it was determined that the cancer he had on his neck has spread throughout his back.  This is undoubtedly a tough time for Pat and his family, and on behalf of the entire Ladner Floor Hockey League, I would like to send my best wishes to Pat and his family in hopes that he will put up a great fight to recovery.

As an appropriate gester to Pat and his family, Hayden and I thought it would be a great idea for the guys in the league to sign Pat's Whalers t-shirt for this season wishing him well.  We will take the shirt to Pat in a later visit to Surrey Memorial Hospital.  Nobody likes to see their friends go through tough times, and I am sure I am speaking on behalf of the entire league that we all wish Pat the best in his battle!
