Being the webmaster , I have the opportunity to express my own personal views on various matters and the one I would like to address today is the plight of the Ottawa Senators. Oh, you say, another editorial comment on a seemingly endless struggle for the NHL team to stay alive in Ottawa. Yes, I say, another comment but it will be brief. Unless your hockey entertainment wants to consist of watching KOHA hockey or the Men’s League on Friday or the Masters league on Wednesday and Friday, then you better get to your computer or post office and send off a missive expressing your concerns about keeping the team here. So, here are some addresses you can send your comments to and then, after doing so, you can say, that you had a say in the matter and did not sit on the fence during the debate as to whether or not the team will fold or simply move to another city. www.keepthesenators.com www.petitiononline.com Remember that HOME DEPOT, who uses the interchange built by the hockey club and sits less than 1 km. from the Corel Center, does not advertise in the building nor do they purchase hockey tickets. Instead, all their monies are put into the Air Canada Center where , you know who, play their hockey games. I , personally have sent Home Depot an email stating that I will not be visiting their store anymore and during the course of a year, with my craft business, that adds up to quite a bit of money. So do what you feel you have to do: but do SOMETHING!!! The Webmaster, Paul Armstrong Pcrafts@rogers.com |
