Tony An, making his first start in place of the injured Michael Jones recorded 1 goal and 4 assists. Ken Vantour had 3 goals, Rupert Houle notched his first three goals of the series and Lawrence 'The Hangover' Willoughby had 2 goals and 3 assists.
Chris Goodman got a scare when a puck deflected into his face cutting his nose and spilling blood on the ice. Goodman left the ice under his own power and finished the game with a goal and 2 assists.
Chad Kuffner received the series first penalty when he was given a 10-minute gross misconduct for scoring too many goals.
"If it wasn't for that Kuffner guy, we could have taken them no problem," said Daejeon's Ken Vantour. "He better keep his head up in the next game. We don't like guys showin' us up like that!"
Kuffner responded in typical hockey fashion.
"Bring it on!" was all he said to the taunts. |
