Teams have been drafted and the schedule has been set. I hope everyone is looking forward to the tournament. Here are the tournament details in case you don't already know.

5v5 Full Ice 

6 Teams, 14 Players per team (13 skaters, 1 goalie), Olympic Style Tournament, 2 Groups (A & B) 3 Teams in each will play against each other within their group to determine standings for Playoffs.

Games will be 3 15min Periods, running clock. Guaranteed 3 games. Player stats will be recorded. The Schedule for the Finals will be released once the Preliminaries have been completed. The Tournament will be on Sunday April 27th from 7:30am to 10:30pm.

Penalties will be 2mins. USA Hockey and AEG Rink Rules apply. (2 referees per game). If the score is within 1 goal in the last minute of the 3rd Period, there will be stop-clock.

Jerseys with numbers not mandatory, but please have a light (not gray) and dark jersey.

Each player must pay $40 before playing (excluding goalies). You will not be allowed to play until you have paid, no exceptions. You can either pay me cash or pay at the rink with cash or card. If you pay at the rink, let the staff know it is for the 'Spring Tournament', please retain your receipt and turn it in to me before you play.

Preliminary Standings for the Finals will be determined by the following. Win (2 Points), Loss (0 Points), Tie (1 Point), then Goals For, then Goals Against. There will be no OT/Shootout in the Preliminaries, ties will count as such. 1st Place and 2nd Place will have byes and automatically go to the Semi-Finals. In the Finals, the winner of each game will continue on in the tournament. Ties will be decided by a 4v4 5min Period (first goal scored wins), and then a best of 3 shootout. If there is a shootout, after the first 3 shooters have gone, as in the Olympics, shooters can repeat tries.
