The Oilers have done it again!
They did it the hard way, losing the first game in each round of the 2013-14 SAHL +40 Division Playoffs, but they found a way to get it done. Defeating the Wings in the Quarter Finals by shootout. Knocking out the Penguins in the Semi Finals via the shootout. Breaking the spirit of the Habs in three games to win the Finals.
The Finals: Game One went to the Habs 6-2. Game Two the Oilers won a squeaker 2-1. That set the stage for deciding Game Three.
The Habs opened the scoring and held to a 1-0 lead . A power play goal in the second period tied the contest 1-1. After a scramble in front of the Habs net, it was time for Steve Perry to bury the biscuit, and light the lamp and give the Oilers the lead they wouldn’t relinquish.

Steve scored the game winning goal, in the deciding game 3 of the 2013-14 SAHL +40 Division Finals to give the Oilers the lead over the Habs.
